Design the hotel room of the future
Hotel Designer Awards 2026 invites architects and designers under 40 to interpret the evolution of hospitality. The challenge consists of defining a new concept for a 36 m² hotel room (including bathroom), choosing one of the 10 categories themes.
From application to submission
Once the online application, you will receive by email a customised WeTransfer link. It will be your reserved space to upload your entries and present your vision to the jury.
- Flexibility: You can submit up to 3 different proposals in different categories.
- Anonymity: To ensure impartiality, materials must not contain logos or references to the designer.
Materials
To participate in the selection, please upload the following documents for each concept, ensuring that each document respects the anonymity criteria.
The Manifesto
A technical report (maximum 2,000 strokes) summarising the concept, material choices and technological integration
The atmosphere
From 4 to 5 renderings high-resolution photorealistic images to show the light, volume and material of your concept (video contributions are also allowed).
The project code
A technical plan to scale 1:50 defining the layout of the room and bathroom in the 36 m² footprint.
Partners (optional)
A list of selected technical brands to give substance to your idea.
Deadline
You have until 31 May to finalise and submit your entries.
